“First best is falling in love. Second best is being in love. Least best is falling out of love. But any of it is better than never having loved.” – Maya Angelou
If you’re reading this, you’ve probably fallen in love with someone special and are in the process of planning your dream wedding or dreaming of planning your dream wedding. But how did you know he was the one for you or better yet, how did he know you were the woman to make him happy for the rest of his life.
We love love stories on the big screen when the man realizes she’s the one, we cry in happiness and we love the warm feelings we get when we watch them. But do those stories only happen in the movies? Kathleen’s man realized he loved her from the moment his lips touched hers. They were on their first date together as a couple and after an evening of smiles and gazes it was time for the kiss. He said that he felt a bold of lightening hit him in the head. We can only imagine the feelings that were swirling around in his head as he opened up his eyes to look at the woman that gave his body a jolt of emotions so strong that he realized that her lips were the only one’s he would ever want to kiss again. So it’s true some people do live in a romantic movie. You don’t need to have a love story fit for Hollywood to have a meaningful love, but it doesn’t hurt anything.
Other men found love with the little things that they noticed. Luz, for example said that her man realized she was the one for him after their second date. After spending time with her and talking and getting to know her he fell in love with her silly personality. The little things she did that brought a smile to his face found a way deep into his heart and he realized he couldn’t let her go.
Hopefully, every person will get the chance to experience the blissful happiness of falling in love, at least once in their lifetime. That single flash of realization is one moment that can never be recreated and will never be forgotten.
