Golden Globes Inspiration
So it's been a week since the Golden Globes and we've had plenty of time to think over our picks for the red carpet. It seemed that something bridal was in the air with white and nude tones making a heaving showing on the runway.
A few ladies actually showed up in wedding gowns. Julie Bowen wore a dyed Reem Acra creation. Michelle Gellar also donned a whimsical blue and white Monique Lhuillier.
Other bridal inspired looks included Jessica Chastain in a lacy, sleeveless Givenchy. "LIfe as an American Teenager" star Shailene Woodley was in a stunning strapless Marchesa. The ever lovely Angelina Jolie wore Versace. We love the red accent. Charlize Theron had a sweet headband and a high low Dior gown. Kate Beckinsale in Roberto Cavalli was gorgeous as usual. Supermodel Elle Macpherson rocked a Zac Posen.
Critics were divided by newly engaged Jessica Biel's Elie Saab gown. This high necked long sleeved lacy number was demure on top but had a daring thigh high slit.
In a recent poll to our Facebook fans, we asked them which of the above gowns was their favorite. Their pick was Jessica Alba's Gucci dress.
