What Will He Wear?

Boutonniere

Ladies, would you ever choose your groom's or your groomsmen's outfits? If the answer's yes, read on. There are now so many options and styles for women, what about men? If your man's classic, then he might want to stick with a tux. It's always worked wonders for George Clooney.

However, if he's looking for more variety, here are some options that he can consider:

If your outfit is contemporary, have him ease up on the black suit.

Let him keep the black jacket, consider tweed pants. Or throw out the tux altogether for a brown suit or a light colored suit like pale yellow or blue.

If your wearing a color, let him wear white. Another cute twist is have him or both of you practice the wedding tradition of something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. For example, he can wear an old suit, a new blue dress shirt, and a borrowed necktie or bow. Or he can wear family heirloom cufflinks.

If you're getting hitched in the summer, keep him comfy too in a lighter material like linen, khaki, or cotton seersucker.

If you're a real rule breaker, ask him to take the plaid! Or don a checkered shirt. It's a super fun look. Matched with a nice pair of shoes, he'll look groovy in a cool way.
