Prince William and Kate Middleton will forever control the celebrity weddings of 2011, but just because we are still nursing our royal wedding fever, doesnt mean we should miss out on all the star-studded nuptials this year. Celebrity weddings will always be a favorite past time of ours, so lets take a look at some of your favorite celebrities getting hitched (perhaps you may even find some inspiration)
Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig
Pulling off a top-secret wedding that would make even James Bond proud, the acting couple made things official in an intimate affair of only four attendees; Rachels 5-year-old-son, Daniels 18-year-old daughter, and two friends who served as witnesses. The couple, who have only dated for six months said I do in an undisclosed location in New York this past June.
Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth
With Reeses daughter, Ava, serving as maid of honor; she wore a dress designed to match Reeses blush-color-satin-and Chantilly lace Monique Lhuillier gown. The couple started off their wedding with a pre-ceremony cocktail, with the brides California ranch serving as their background. After the ceremony, the ever glamorous Reese changed into another, shorter white Lhuillier dress for a night of dancing.
Kate Moss and Jamie Hince
This rock n roll wedding, set in the beautiful country side of England, celebrated in the only way a model and rocker would deem fitting; with style and a three-day-festival, of course. Kate stopped time in her sheer-paneled, sequin-covered gown, custom made by long time friend and fashion bad boy John Galliano. Their guest list included Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Naomi Campbell and Kelly Osbourne, just to name a few.
America Ferrera and Ryan Piers Williams
The college sweethearts tied the knot in front of family, friends and a few of Americas former Ugly Betty co-stars, in Chappaqua, New York. In fact, the young couples nuptials were hosted by Vanessa Williams at her home and officiated by Judith Light. However, there was nothing ugly about Americas embroidered veil and tiered chiffon train gown designed by Amsale Christos.
Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton
In true Texas fashion, go big or go home was the motto of these country singers. Miranda wore her mothers wedding dress as she exchanged her vows to a jeans-clad Blake in front of 550 guests. The backdrop was a rustic barn lit by lanterns and the reception a giant hall decked out with hunting and fishing gear.
