Coordinating Accessories for a Beach Wedding

Sweet Word

There are so many choices when it comes to accessorizing your wedding dress. Everything from head to foot needs to be considered to create the look you want.  Try to decide on a theme and stick to it, whether it is traditional, commercial or something totally individual.

Depending on the type of wedding you have chosen, you have an array of footwear to choose from. Although in the past the traditional kind has been heels, there have been many variations since brides are getting more adventurous as to where they have chosen to exchange vows.

The beach has increasingly became a popular location. With the crystal blue waters and warm sun, it is understandable why so many go for this option. Wearing heels on the beach is very impractical for most people, so anything from flat crochet style ballet slippers to going totally barefoot is the wide scale you have to make your choice from.

Incorporate something you love to do, or even to reflect your partner’s loves such as hobbies or lifestyle. Some brides even choose to wear cowboy boots to set their dress off and make it an individual outfit.

There is no point in going all out on your dress if your nails do not look nice. Most recent photography includes a close up of the rings on your finger, or both of you hand in hand, so it only stands to reason that you have a manicure as part of your preparation. The color of the varnish used is of course down to you, but you will have noticed in the media that the brighter the color or pattern the better. A pedicure would be nice too if you are going to remove your shoes to dance later in the evening, marry bare foot, or wear open toe shoes.

Not only do you need to accessorize around your dress, but you have more colors to play with if you include your bouquet too! It does not need to be floral. Others have chosen seashells made up as a nice hand held decoration (great for the beach or a memory of a nice holiday you took together), feathers from beautiful white to stunning peacock feathers, and even edible ones made from an assortment of confectionaries. Origami flowers and even lanterns have been used; this added choice makes it easier for everyone to be an individual.

Don’t forget your hair either. Tiaras look beautiful but are not for everyone. Some women still choose to wear a veil, conventional, or unconventional. If you have an up-do then look at the beautiful hairpins that are available. There are so many, some even as individual as each person on earth that are made from hand!

Don’t be afraid to experiment with different materials and styles as you could find that you are limiting your options, which would be a shame. The bolder and brighter the better, the more personalized, the better the memories. Make this time a fun time, not one of only meticulous planning!
