Eyelash Extension

Mascara

Worried that mascara won’t make a big enough statement for your wedding? Individual eye extensions will do the job! Eyelash extensions add length, volume, and fullness to natural eyelashes. The difference between natural eyelashes and individual eyelash extensions is that they are made out of human or synthetic hair, similar to hair extensions. A single lash is glued to each natural lash for a more fuller, lengthier look. So if you have really thin eyelashes or want lashes that will last longer these would be perfect!

Things you need

Individual eyelash extensions

Adhesive glue for eyelashes

Tweezers

Eyelash comb

How to find eyelash extensions

You can find individual eyelash extensions at any nearby beauty store such as Sally’s or CVS, even supercenters such as Target or Wal-Mart.

How to apply

1. Make sure your face is clean and completely dry. It’s best to apply your extensions directly in front of a mirror, also in a lighted area. It’s a good idea to pull your hair back so it’s not in your face while your applying your lashes.

2. Take your pair of tweezers and tweeze a single lash, apply some adhesive glue on the lash root and with the other hand pull your eyelid up with the tip of your finger. Start at the eyelid’s outer edge and begin to place each individual extension underneath your natural eyelash for the top lash and repeat the step for the other eye as well. Placing them underneath you natural eyelashes will make your extensions look more natural. When doing the bottom lash, pull your bottom lid down and repeat the same step above. How many eyelash extensions you want to add under each lid is totally up to you! For a more natural look, less is better, but for a more dramatic look, more is better.

3. If your eyes begin to water stop and wait until they are dry before you continue, if not this will cause the eyelash extensions to come out.

4. Once finished and you’ve allowed them to dry, comb your eyelashes gently with the eyelash comb.

For longer lasting eyelashes don’t rub eyes frequently, and try not to wet and put oils on your lashes.

How to remove

Individual eyelash extensions will fall out over time, but if you want to remove them it’s best to buy some adhesive eyelash remover. Individual eyelash extensions are meant to last for a couple weeks or even months (if cared for correctly), so if you plan on wearing them for a day It would be recommended if you get the strip instead of the individual extension.

This is a great tip for women trying to save money but want those beautiful, full lashes! Full, thick, and long lashes are totally trendy! Make a statement at your wedding with these individual eyelash extensions.
