Fashion Predictions

The 2012 Spring New York Fashion Week has drawn to a close. We already know some of the trends, such as bare midriffs (Charlotte Ronson, Jason Wu, Jill Stuart) , floral patterns (Thakoon, Tory Burch, and Derek Lam), and stripes (Alexander Wang, DKNY, and Mark Jacobs), but how will this translate into bridal fashion?

While only the most adventurous brides would don a striped wedding gown, pattern has been popular for bridesmaid dresses the last few seasons, and I wouldn't say no to pretty flowery frock for a boho chic wedding.

Showing skin, however, may be a lasting bridal trend. Last year, it was ball gowns with slits and high low dresses. This spring, designers seem to be taking out fabric from the top rather than the bottom of the dress with cut out backs and peek-a-boo tops.

If you're planning a spring wedding, what are you and your bridesmaids going to wear?
