Today, I grabbed Henry, one of the few guys in the office, and made him give me a list of his top five dream getaway cars for a wedding. Here are the ones that he gave me in no particular order.
1. Aston Martin
The only thing I know about Aston Martin is that Drake had a song about them. The Aston Martin is a luxury sports car made by a British manufacturer. Apparently, this is also Edward Cullen's special occasional car and makes a special appearance in the upcoming Twilight film, Breaking Dawn. It is the most recent James Bond car.
2. Lamborghini Gallardo Convertible
This baby is made by an Italian company that is currently a subsidiary of Audi, but continues to be made in Italy. Henry was super insistent about the necessity of the convertible.
3. Ferrari italia convertible
Bella drives a Ferrari F430 in Breaking Dawn. The company still sponsors drivers and racing, which gives it a wild and adventurous reputation.
4. Mercedes SLS
When I looked up this car, I really liked the futuristic doors that open upwards. I imagine it makes it a lot easier to get in wearing a big ball gown. The SLS AMG is featured as the cover car for the PlayStation3 racing came, and was the safety car for the last Formula One season.
5. Rolls Royce Phantom
This kind of threw me for a loop, because there are no less than eight Rolls-Royce cars that have the word Phantom in the name, but I figured Henry must mean the 2003 model. It's not as pretty as some of the other cars on the list, but the boxy frame has a sort of classic elegance.
