Something Blue
Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.
No doubt you've heard of this rhyme! Blue was thought of the color of purity, and it was fitting for young women to wear this soft and feminine color. Did you know that a hundred years ago baby girls wore blue and baby boys wore pink? What will you be wearing that's blue?
Blue Nails
Bold nails are in vogue this year! Women will not only be wearing brightly colored hues of nail polish, but there are also all sorts of funky patterns that have been seen on the runway. Blue plaid, stripes, or polka dots are all fair game! If you're going to have fun with your nails, you might want to keep the rest of your outfit more subdued so those colors really do pop!
Blue Shoes
There is something fabulous about blue shoes peeking out from under a long white dress. I think blue ribbon or a blue French tip are equally wonderful and fashionable alternatives.

While there are many naturally blue flowers like cornflowers, irises, hydrangea, you can also buy flowers that have been tinted or dyed. Tinted flowers are white or light colored flowers with porous stems that have been given water with food coloring or dye. You can easily make your own; daisies and carnations work well.
