Summer Cocktail Hour Inspiration Board

During this weekend, the temperature soared up to 90 degrees and it was just the beginning of May! It looks like this summer is off to a hot start, and I spent a lot of time thinking of icy cold treats to keep cool. This inspiration board is made up of quick easy bites that are light and delicious.
Since they come on sticks or in stick form, they're also finger friendly and you can eat them one-handed. While these picks would be fantastic for a casual summer wedding cocktail hour, they're also equally fitting for one last engagement party or part of a summer barbecue.
Nothing says celebration like sparkling wine, but when you combine prosecco with the childhood favorite, the popsicle, you get something sweet and treacly, bubbly and brightly colored. You can chase it down with a shot of a chilled tomato soup. Kebabs and bite-size fish sticks provide something a little more substantial. Besides substituting the champagne for soda water or sprite, there is no need to create a separate kid menu.
