Wedding Boots
Cowgirl Style

One style that we're loving is the influx of boots at weddings. They look so fun and fabulous! We love them on brides because they're stylish, have a bit of a heel, and won't sink in the mud. Somehow they even made the wedding dress even more feminine! However, we can't promise that you can do-si-do in them.
Rain boots are playful and practical. Laced up boots can be quirky or perfectly fitting with a Victorian styled or rustic wedding. Cowboy boots are a no brainer for an American West or frontier themed wedding. We love them highly glossed, old and beat up, with and without buckles.
Our favorites are the traditional dark leather (or pleather) boots, but we think cute pink booties are a terrific choice for the flower girls. While we've seen some women try tan or off-white boots, it's a riskier fashion choice and too light of a color could clash with a white or ivory wedding gown.
Rather than having your bridesmaids all buy the same pair of boots, we suggest that you allow them to give them a general color and shape (e.g. scalloped edges). We think that with simple gowns, you can get away with crazier boots. But for fancy ball gowns, pair them with a comfy set in a plainer design as a flirty accent.
