Wedding Inspiration from the SAG Awards

We were so excited by the SAG Awards red carpet. Yes, the awards show is amazing -- congrats to all the winners-- but it's the dresses that draw our attention.

Here are our picks for some of the most inspiring dresses for 2012 brides. What we loved about Lea Michelle's bold Versace gown was it's expert pleating and draping. While we applaud her for her thigh high slit and stunning legs, none of us at the SimplyBridal would go dare go down the aisle with that much on display like the soft chiffon Claire gown.

Fellow Glee girl Naya Rivera wore a stunning Naeem Khan dress with a plunging V neckline. We thought the elaborate beading was just so glamorous and would be a gorgeous bridal gown with a slightly more demure collar.

Zoe Saldana looked chic and comfortable in her airy white Givenchy Haute Couture gown with its many beautiful details.

Hilary Swank was breathtaking in her nude asymmetrical Versace gown. The draping reminded us a little of the Ava Gown. All in all, it was a wonderful night and so many of the couples were adorable. We especially thought that Emily Blunt and John Krasinski were so cute together, and Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt continue to wow us.
