This gown proved to be the perfect buy for my daughter's high school prom. For the first time in absolutely ages my husband and my teenage daughter managed to find an outfit of hers that they both liked. She looked stunning wearing it. I've lost count of how many times I've been a bridesmaid and most of my bridesmaid's dresses are looked al little sorry for themselves now; so for the last wedding I was invited to it was time to buy a new one. I was very impressed with the range of dresses from Simply Bridal they seem to have so many special outfits. I chose a pretty pink one with a long loose skirt. It looked great on and I'm very pleased with my purchase.
My husband and I attended a rather fancy dance just the other month and to my surprise my husband rented a tuxedo for the occasion! This is a beautiful dress and I really enjoyed wearing it. Sadly the second time I wore it there was a problem with some of the stitching and the hem of the dress needed a fair bit of repair work. I still think it's a lovely dress but I can't give it full marks because of the stitching.
It’s the perfect dress for office parties and other formal functions. Just bought it on an impulse but have not regretted my decision since. My husband was saying I shouldn’t have ordered it, but when it came, he loved it as much as I do! I will definitely buy again from SimplyBridal!
Our bride wanted to do something fun for the bridesmaids, so she had each buy one of these dresses in Ivory or White, then had us paint/dye splashes of colors at the hem.
My dress came on time and only had minor sizing issues... some of the other bridesmaids got theirs and it fit completely. The material didn't seem to hold the dye very well (it ran everywhere!) but that could've also been due to the paint we were using...

When you place your order, you’ll be asked to fill in your measurements. This provides our seamstresses with much more detail than a standard dress size. To take your measurements accurately, follow these tips: Use a fabric tape measure. A metal tape measure can buckle and bend, causing your measurements to be slightly too big. Keep the tape measure taught, but don’t stretch it tight. Wear the same undergaments and shoes that you plan to wear on your wedding day. Keep your feet 6 inches apart. Have a friend help you take your measurements. These are the figures we’ll need, along with instructions about how to take each measurement. a) Bust: This is not the same as your bra size. Instead, this is a measurement of the largest part of your bust. Keep your arms at your side during this measurement. b) Sleeve: Bend your arm at a 90 degree angle and put your hand on your hip. Measure from your shoulder. down your arm and stop at your wrist. c) Waist: This is your natural waistline, typically found an inch or two above your belly button. Don’t suck in your waist, although you may be tempted to. You want to be able to breathe on your wedding day. d) Hips: This is a measurement of the fullest part of your hips. e) Hollow to hem: Place the measure at the base of your neck and stop to measure where you'd like the hem to stop. |
