Back Zipper Wedding Dresses
In earlier centuries, back closures on female clothing was originally a sign of wealth, as wearing such a garment implied that the bride could afford servants to help her dress. Today, closures are still associated with more formal clothing.
The back-zipper is placed in the middle of the back of the bodice, and runs from the waist to the top of the bodice. This is generally the most common type of closure found in wedding gowns and formal wear.
