I am a plus size woman, and I am buying this dress at the end of Feb! I was just wondering if any lady that is of the plus size nature has ever bought this dress before? My wedding is May 18th 2013 Thanks :)
I really like the front the back in fact everything about this dress. It really flattered my figure and I looked way lighter than in real time.
The fit of this dress is superb and the full skirt made such dramatic impression to everyone present at my wedding last Christmas. I married in a hotel and my Simply Bridal wedding gown was the center of everyone's attention.
It seemed sketchy using the internet to find a dress. I did a google search and found simplybridal and the celeste gown just blew my mind. it's gorgeous and the miles of ruffles made me click the buy button instantly. so glad i did. its gorgeous.
I saw an ad for the store everywhere so I clicked on it. I thought the dresses were pretty but the price was amazing. the gown was super squished when it came, but after a trip to the dry cleaner's it was gorgeous and huge! i know everyone says that the bride is beautiful on her wedding day, but i really felt beautiful.
our big day is next month. customer support answered all my questions. i chose the Celeste wedding dress because i saw it and knew it was the one. the customer service is awesome.

I love my dress! The dress went above and beyond my expectations. I was really nervous but then I saw how it fit. This dress honestly makes me feel drop dead gorgeous and it even has a hook so you can bustle it.

When you place your order, you’ll be asked to fill in your measurements. This provides our seamstresses with much more detail than a standard dress size. To take your measurements accurately, follow these tips: Use a fabric tape measure. A metal tape measure can buckle and bend, causing your measurements to be slightly too big. Keep the tape measure taught, but don’t stretch it tight. Wear the same undergaments and shoes that you plan to wear on your wedding day. Keep your feet 6 inches apart. Have a friend help you take your measurements. These are the figures we’ll need, along with instructions about how to take each measurement. a) Bust: This is not the same as your bra size. Instead, this is a measurement of the largest part of your bust. Keep your arms at your side during this measurement. b) Sleeve: Bend your arm at a 90 degree angle and put your hand on your hip. Measure from your shoulder. down your arm and stop at your wrist. c) Waist: This is your natural waistline, typically found an inch or two above your belly button. Don’t suck in your waist, although you may be tempted to. You want to be able to breathe on your wedding day. d) Hips: This is a measurement of the fullest part of your hips. e) Hollow to hem: Place the measure at the base of your neck and stop to measure where you'd like the hem to stop. |
