I needed a semi-formal dress that would be suitable to wear regardless of the season. As a wedding coordinator I need to look and feel great in any dress I wear. This dress has an awesome classic look and is very comfortable. Looks great with accessories.
This dress has a fanciful alluring style that is just perfect for my beach wedding. The dress design makes the dress very figure flattering.
I couldn't wait to post this review because I want to let everyone know that this is the REAL thing! I know you must be thinking "for real, sure, uh huh" but seriously! I ordered my dress on June 4 2012 and received confirmation that it would ship on July 22, 2012. That was fine since the wedding is in September, well the dress arrived on July 3, 2012! I was afraid to open the box at first because I had ordered another dress online that was ok but not what I expected from the pictures. Anyway, I was shaking when I opened the box and was pleasantly surprised that I had a "Thank you for purchasing our Dress" card, along with other great suggestions and a recyclable bag imprinted with the company's logo "Simply Bridal". I opened the box and saw the first of the dress in a vacuum sealed bag but boy was I surprised to see the fine detailing in the embroidery! Once I took the dress out of the bag, I realized I had made the right choice. I immediately tried it on and was almost in tears when I saw myself. I really looked like a princess. The dress is so beautiful and very, very, very well made, I could not imagine getting married in any other dress. It is every bit as the picture on their site. I am ecstatic about it and can't wait for my fiance to see me walking down the isle in this gorgeous gown that I paid 1/3 of what I would have paid at other stores. I really must say THANK YOU Simply Bridal, I thought I had to sacrifice elegance for affordability since my budget is less than $6,000 but you are totally the place to go. I uploaded the back because I wanted people to see the length of the train! I'll upload the front in another post.
I will wear this dress to our renewal of vows and since we have already been married for ten years, I want it to be a memorable event and this fabulous wedding gown made my wish possible. It's going to feel like the first time.
I already placed an order to another company but it was cancelled. They were closing down. Anyways, so I get to www.simplybridal.com and placed my order and after a month I got it.

When you place your order, you’ll be asked to fill in your measurements. This provides our seamstresses with much more detail than a standard dress size. To take your measurements accurately, follow these tips: Use a fabric tape measure. A metal tape measure can buckle and bend, causing your measurements to be slightly too big. Keep the tape measure taught, but don’t stretch it tight. Wear the same undergaments and shoes that you plan to wear on your wedding day. Keep your feet 6 inches apart. Have a friend help you take your measurements. These are the figures we’ll need, along with instructions about how to take each measurement. a) Bust: This is not the same as your bra size. Instead, this is a measurement of the largest part of your bust. Keep your arms at your side during this measurement. b) Sleeve: Bend your arm at a 90 degree angle and put your hand on your hip. Measure from your shoulder. down your arm and stop at your wrist. c) Waist: This is your natural waistline, typically found an inch or two above your belly button. Don’t suck in your waist, although you may be tempted to. You want to be able to breathe on your wedding day. d) Hips: This is a measurement of the fullest part of your hips. e) Hollow to hem: Place the measure at the base of your neck and stop to measure where you'd like the hem to stop. |
