The dress came in a vacuumed seal bag with its own dress cover. I ordered a size 2 but that was still big so I had to make alterations. The dress was beautifully detailed. I love the lace at the bottom and the bead work was stunning.
The only thing I was disappointed with was the hemming along the front from the hips to knee was super CROOKED!! And I mean really crooked that it made me look like my hip turned to one side. The hemming was 3-4inches off. It totally threw off my body symmetry :( Even my seamstress (who's been doing wedding dress alterations for 40yrs) could not fix the problem. Also the beads kept falling of, some of the threads were loose and my seamstress had to restitch some of them back on.
Its not perfect but still a very pretty dress and Im excited to wear it on my big day...besides I probably just got the bad batch

had no clue what to wear to go ballroom dancing but this dress is the perfect solution. It is elegant and really only needs earrings and a bracelet to set it off. I love its understated beauty.
I absolutely loved my gown. It looked identical to the picture and was a steal for the price. I would have and could have easily payed 1,500 for the same product.
The sizes on here are very accurate and my dress fit like a glove without any alterations. This aspect was extremely important for me because no bridal shops carried dresses small enough to fit me!!!!!
The lace is a great quality!!! The only suggestion that I have is to set aside the money to have it steamed, because the small packaging wrinkles the dress.
I paired the dress with a cathedral viel and it turned out to be picture perfect. I am having difficulty loading a picture but if you would like to see some just send me an email.
the lace details on this gown were stunning! i'm still trying to get my head around the fact that so much work went into it for only $300!!! this was waaaaay above my expectations - thanks simplybridal!
I was pretty disappointed in how the dress turned out...
1) the hemming along the front (from waist to knee) was visibly crooked
2) the length of the outer lace vs. the inside lining was so different that it looked pretty bad at the bottom of the dress.
So far the customer service has been very responsive. I'm hoping I can get a full return asap and get a new wedding dress soon. I'm not sure if I will order another dress from simplybridal...I only have 3 months until my wedding and really don't want to have to return another poorly made dress =/

This dress was above and beyond my expectations. It truly is so gorgeous! Simply Bridals customer service is wonderful. The dress fit me so perfectly, I am relieved I do not have to make any alterations whatsoever. It is so romantic and I cannot wait to wear it!

When you place your order, you’ll be asked to fill in your measurements. This provides our seamstresses with much more detail than a standard dress size. To take your measurements accurately, follow these tips: Use a fabric tape measure. A metal tape measure can buckle and bend, causing your measurements to be slightly too big. Keep the tape measure taught, but don’t stretch it tight. Wear the same undergaments and shoes that you plan to wear on your wedding day. Keep your feet 6 inches apart. Have a friend help you take your measurements. These are the figures we’ll need, along with instructions about how to take each measurement. a) Bust: This is not the same as your bra size. Instead, this is a measurement of the largest part of your bust. Keep your arms at your side during this measurement. b) Sleeve: Bend your arm at a 90 degree angle and put your hand on your hip. Measure from your shoulder. down your arm and stop at your wrist. c) Waist: This is your natural waistline, typically found an inch or two above your belly button. Don’t suck in your waist, although you may be tempted to. You want to be able to breathe on your wedding day. d) Hips: This is a measurement of the fullest part of your hips. e) Hollow to hem: Place the measure at the base of your neck and stop to measure where you'd like the hem to stop. |
