Is your passport ready? Below are descriptions of popular destination locales.
France
Does Paris really need an explanation? This iconic city for romance is speckled with art museums, gorgeous architecture, monuments, historical buildings and ornate bridges. Oh yeah, there's the Eiffel Tower, too. The water-inclined should check out Yachts de Paris, a company that allows couples to wed on the meandering River Seine. C'est magnifique!
South Africa
Shamwari Game Reserve is an award winning big five private game reserve that offers seven luxury lodges and game drives near Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. The reserve itself is situated in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. A safari that offers close sightings of elephants, rhinos, buffalos, lions and leopards will have your guests gasping. The dramatic sunset will burn in your memory for decades to come.
Tahiti
Tahiti has it all. Situated in the dazzling South Pacific, this island, with its sugar white beaches and turquoise water, is a symbol for laidback luxury. A romantic option for accommodations would be an over-water bungalow, complete with glass floor and private balcony. Most hotels and resorts offer this; just ask when inquiring about packages.
The Caribbean
Barbados. Martinique. Saint Kitts. The Caribbean offers sandy beaches and sea-scented air, and the islands are close to home, making flights less expensive. The luxurious Sandals Resort specializes in weddings and offers all-inclusive deals. The company features tropical settings in Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Antigua and the Bahamas.
Indonesia
Couples vying for a three-day fest with drinks galore will have no problem in Bali, the delightfully diverse Indonesian island hailed for its beauty. Various resorts all over the island offer special deals and luxurious accommodations. The stunning Tirtha Bali offers two spectacular cliff top locations, along with churches.
Canada
Hôtel de Glace in Québec is prepared to host one of the happiest days of your life on ice. One of the first ice hotels in the world, this frosty venue is purely constructed from snow and ice, and boasts ice lounges, ice furniture and even an ice bed! Quite ideal for snuggling.
