Indoor versus Outdoor Wedding
Today is one of those spring days that can't decide to be beautiful or gray. Peeking out the window this morning, I decided to bring my umbrella, but by lunch it was sunny and warm. And now it's gray again. Spring weather is very unpredictable, which makes having outdoor weddings risky business as well.
The pros and cons of indoor and outdoor weddings are many, and there's no way to say that one is better than the other. At the end of the day, it depends on your ideas of a dream wedding as well as your personality.
Outdoor weddings really seem to depend on your luck, but the beautiful weather, natural environment, and soft lighting can make it more than worth it. However, you should rethink the outdoor wedding if you or your fiance have allergies like hay fever, or if elderly or young children are present. Temperature extremes are uncomfortable for everyone, but can be dangerous for people with health conditions.
Indoor weddings is the obvious safe choice, but may seem a bit bland for the more adventurous types. If you have a strong connection to the great outdoors, an indoor wedding may not be for you. Where you have your wedding also depends on your temperament. For instance, if perfection is a very big concern, an outdoor wedding can be needlessly stressful.
