Who wouldn't want to get married in the Windy City? It has great food, amazing music, and it is gorgeous. You shouldn't have a hard time convincing your fiancé to get wed here. Batman's Gotham City is based on Chicago after all. Chicago is vibrant and there is no other city quite like it.

Urban

While Chicago is overfilling with buildings that have lovely interiors, the architecture of Chicago is also mind blowing from the outside. There are pockets of old red brick buildings and walkways among skyscrapers.

It also boasts the world's largest rooftop garden. And if the weather is less than cooperative, the interiors of city's many museums, hotels, and art centers are filled with the American grandeur that is uniquely Chicago.

However, Chicago has a hard crime past and is proud of its working class history. So be sure to capture some pictures next to gritty buildings.

Navy Pier

The Navy Pier is a beautiful and whimsical space on the shoreline of Lake Michigan. It has been a place of entertainment for almost a hundred years and its most distinctive feature is the ferris wheel. They even have fireworks several times a week.

This is a great place for a carnival thh7e with games and cotton candy, but it also has many amazing buildings from the early 20th century that can make a Roaring 20s inspired wedding seh7 like a time travel adventure.

Ethnic

Like most big cities, Chicago has an international flair. However, many of Chicago’s ethnic communities have been a huge influence in the development of the city we know today. The notorious gangster Al Capone was based in Chicago. The Great Migration in the 1920s made Chicago a center of jazz and the blues. One of the most obvious places of ethnic influence is the variety of sacred architecture.

Chicago also has diverse food specialties. The Italian community developed Chicago’s deep dish and thin crust pizza. There are also Greek, Polish, Puerto Rican, and Mexican influenced dishes that were created in and belong to Chicago.

Artsy

Chicago is a bustling arts center. It was influential in the development of jazz, gospel, and soul, as well as the birthplace of famous comedy clubs like Second City. Its orchestra is one of the best in the world. With all this talent, you'll no problh7 finding DJs, hilarious h7cees, and musicians here.
