Woodland Wedding

Quicker than you can say Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, we've seen a bevy of woodland weddings. Maybe it's the rustic trend, maybe there's something romantic about trampsing through the woods with the one you love, or maybe it's an environmental thing. Whatever it is, we're loving these low key woodsy weddings.

Here are five things that woodland weddings need!

1. Wildflower Bouquets

Non-fussy and locally sourced means less headache and it's also better for the environment and your wallet.

2. A tree altar

Whether it's the flowery wonderland that we saw all too recently at Bella and Edward's wedding in the movie Twilight: Breaking Dawn or a big evergreen tree, there's something awe-inspiring about tying the knot in a natural environment.

3. Animal friends

Whether it's your wedding cake topper or a ring bearer pooch, the great outdoors is not complete without some critters.

4. Practical Footwear

Preferably cowboy boots but a pair of strappy sandals works too! Nothing shatters the image of a wild and rustic adventure like a stiletto shoes. Yes, we love shoes as much as the next girl, but we suspect that serious heels stand a good chance of sinking in anything but the most hard packed soil.

5. Punch

And we're not talking about summer camp Kool-Aid. Instead of signature cocktail, whip up your own batch of bridal punch, which may or may not be spiked!
